Your agent logic is the hard part. Infra keeps stealing the week.

If you're building agentic systems, you already know the pattern: the prototype works… then deployment, evals, and reliability work pile up.

  • Shipping friction Getting an agent from local runs to a stable environment takes more glue code than it should.
  • Evals that don't stick Most stacks treat evaluation as a script you run once, not a living contract.
  • Lock-in risk Hosted "agent platforms" often hide state in proprietary backends, making it hard to audit, version, or move.

Knack Cloud is built for this exact moment: an agent-native platform with a code-first, file-based workflow so you can iterate fast, measure quality, and deploy without a DevOps side quest.

Everything you need to build, eval, and ship agents

A tight loop from skill authoring to deployment — designed for developers who care about versioning, auditability, and repeatable quality.

  • Skill materialization engine

Turn tacit expertise into reusable agent skills that improve through iteration — not one-off prompts.

  • Eval-first architecture

Evals are first-class: fixtures, exemplars, and a Hammurabi judge panel with multi-criterion scoring and an audit trail.

  • CLI + local UI

Work the way you build: fast local iteration with a developer-native interface — not a forced web-only workflow.

  • File-based, git-versionable projects

No hidden database state. Keep skills, fixtures, and changes in git for clean diffs, reviews, and rollbacks.

  • Model choice (now and expanding)

Start focused (Anthropic/Claude for MVP) with a path to broader provider support so you can choose what fits your use case.

  • Cloudflare AI Gateway integration

Production-grade observability and caching so you can understand cost, latency, and behavior from day one.

What Founding 50 members get

A real platform, a faster path to production, and the status of being early — without the usual early-adopter tax.

  • One full year free

Full Knack Cloud access for a year for the first 50 builders. No credit card. No feature limits during your founding year.

  • A workflow that compounds

Every fixture and exemplar you add becomes part of a repeatable quality bar — so the next version is easier to trust.

  • Ship without the infrastructure overhead

Spend time on agent behavior, not scaffolding and deployment glue.

  • Portable, sellable skill artifacts

Skills are artifacts you can version, export, and publish — built to travel with you and your team.

  • Founding cohort access

Early access means tighter feedback loops and a louder voice in what gets built next.

Only 50 spots. Once they're gone, the founding offer closes.

Technical credibility, not marketing promises

Knack Cloud is designed to be inspectable and developer-controlled.

Trust signal badges: MIT License, Cloudflare AI Gateway, GitHub open-source
  • MIT licensed foundations — build with confidence and reduce vendor risk.
  • File-based architecture — no opaque backend state. Projects stay auditable and versioned.
  • Cloudflare AI Gateway integration — observability and caching built in.
  • Eval-first design — quality is measured, reviewed, and tracked across versions.
  • Provider flexibility — start focused, expand over time. No single-provider trap by design.

FAQ

What happens after the free year?
You'll get clear pricing before your free year ends. If you choose not to continue, you keep your work: projects are file-based and git-versionable, so you can export and run them outside Knack Cloud. No surprise auto-upgrades.
Is Knack Cloud production-ready or still experimental?
Knack Cloud is being built for real deployments, not toy demos — starting with an opinionated, focused scope. If a feature is in early access, it will be labeled as such in-product. The founding cohort is how the platform gets hardened quickly with serious builders.
Which models are supported?
The MVP is focused on Anthropic (Claude). Broader multi-provider support (including OpenAI and others) is part of the direction so you can choose models per workload as the platform expands.
How do evals work in Knack?
You define fixtures (test inputs + expected behavior) and exemplars (good/bad outputs with reasons). Knack runs evaluation as a first-class loop, including a Hammurabi judge panel for multi-criterion scoring and an audit trail, so changes are measurable across versions.
Is there lock-in?
Knack projects are file-based and versioned like code. That means you can audit changes, review diffs, and export artifacts. The MIT license further reduces dependency risk compared to closed, proprietary agent stacks.
What does "Founding 50" actually mean?
It's limited early access with a founding offer (one year free) and a tighter feedback channel. You get to build early, influence what's prioritized, and ship skills before the platform opens more broadly.
Do I need a credit card to join?
